Why it matters

Knowing where your Assets, Liabilities, Policies, and Utilities are is important

As life progresses, it’s easy to lose track of the many assets, liabilities, policies, and utilities you manage. Bringing them all together in one place gives you simple and convenient way to access your important information when you and/or your loved ones need it, and a clear view of your net worth.

You can track anything from multiple investments to a sentimental item. Now with digital apps, it’s even more difficult to keep a track of where things are as normally, there are no statements or documents posted to your address.

Make it easier for your loved ones to continue if you and/or your partner were to pass (see MyStory)

In the midst of a crisis, families are often left to sort through stacks of paperwork in search of important financial information which can often be behind multiple password protected systems.

During this time, they may unintentionally overlook valuable assets such as investments, life policies, or even the location of cherished jewellery. Spreadsheets or shared files can be easily missed!

Our solution makes recording and providing this data simpler (Typical Nominee’s are your Will Executor, Spouse, Family members, and/or trusted friends) .

We help you provide important information to your loved ones
  • Your data is easy to update and held securely until they need it
  • Easy access to the important data they need post death
  • Provide your Will Executor the data they need, fast and accurately (saving solicitor and search costs)

Access to your data

Give trusted ones easy and secure access to the information they need. You have control of what each individual can see.

Built in time switch

If your Nominee or Advisor tries to access your account, you will be notified and have set time (determined by you) to respond. This is a very important factor in this portal.

Information

When speaking with people about passing on their inheritance, we heard a common theme: a deep concern for the financial well-being of their loved ones. While inheritance rules may change, the questions remain heartfelt and consistent: How will my family cope financially when I’m gone? Will my partner and children receive the support I’ve set aside for them? What steps will my family need to take after my passing? And if I’ve prepared important information, how can I ensure my loved ones can access it when they need it most? How do I create a death file?

This portal has been designed to support you in planning for the future and ensuring your loved ones have the information they may need.

  • View your Net Worth in one place By entering your financial information into the portal, you can see a concise view of your Net Worth. Many users of the portal choose to update their data when their financial circumstances change, however, we encourage you to update the data regularly.
  • Record essential information for your chosen Nominees/Advisor While it’s never easy to think about, planning for what happens after we’re gone can bring peace of mind. You can record as much or as little detail as you wish, from a simple list of your accounts (assets and liabilities), to more detailed information you  and/or your loved ones may need.
  • Control access for Nominees and your Advisor You can choose who has access to your account, what they can see, and when. For example, you might give your partner full access, while allowing others to view only the details they need for post death purposes. The same flexible permissions apply to your Advisor.
  • Controlled access This feature ensures your information is only shared when appropriate and with the right person(s). A Time Switch setting determines how long your selected and trusted Nominee’s/Advisor must wait before they can access your details. If a Nominee/Advisor tries to access your account, you’ll receive an SMS and email notification to approve or deny access, which allows you time to verify their access. If you don’t respond within the set period, access will then be granted (on the assumption you may have passed away). You can adjust this setting for individual Nominees and the Advisor if you know you won’t be able to respond for a period of time.

We hope this portal helps to make life easier for your loved ones.
